Want to show your support, say thank you or buy us a coffee? Here’s how
Since starting this blog we’ve received a steady stream of messages, emails and comments giving thanks for what we’ve shared. There is nothing more rewarding than receiving gratitude for your work even when its unnecessary, and the energy boost it provides to both ourselves and others is a blessing to keep us sharing. Many of you have told us your stories and how they relate to a story we’ve shared. Your messages and comments and ideas help inspire us to continually push ourselves further down the trail and to continue making better and better content and we love hearing from you. That alone is thanks enough for us.
For many of you who are called to do more to encourage us to create and share our outdoor adventures there are several ways you can support us. Please read on.
If you are familiar with the 5 love languages there are 5 ways which we all are predisposed to show our appreciation and improve our relationships.
Quality Time – Spend time on our site
We hope you find it intriguing and knowledge-based. Google and other search engines rank websites and pages not only by where you go and how often you visit but also for how long you stay. If you find an article about a specific topic or location, simply returning or sticking around to view other content helps us out. Bookmark our website and come back often.
Acts of Service – Responsible content sharing
Since we don’t currently use affiliate links, we can use your help to perpetuate our site and stories. Don’t hesitate to share our site with your family and friends on social media. Also, consider liking and subscribing to our social media pages and Youtube feed using the links in the upper right. You’ll notice that there is no content there, that is currently by design, however all those likes and subscriptions trigger some fantastic things when it comes to web ranking and page suggestions. Consider it also a vote on where we should expand our reach in the future.
When you share our articles, be mindful of your impact on the internet and the physical locations we’ve posted about. As always, please remember that leave no trace principles also apply to the opinions which you are leaving behind for others and will exist in cyberspace long after the post is made. Also be mindful we all grow as people and our interests and opinions can and do change. Defend the purity of the outdoors, the message of family that is behind our posts and keep the story positive!
Words of Affirmation – Share with us
Reach out to us or leave comments to posts especially if you have an idea or topic we should cover. Everybody has a story and we’d love to hear yours. Send us a question and we will get you an answer.
Physical Touch- Shop our store
One of the things about our chosen name for this site is that it leads to some totally kick-rear and downright hysterical branding ideas. Visit our store for some great and exclusive gifts for yourselves and your kids. I’m pretty picky about my gear and use the same quality standards and research techniques in selecting the gear for sale in our store. Getting our message out by using a physical product is a great way to help get us noticed.
Receiving Gifts – Buy us a Coffee…or a beer & pizza
Finally, use the link below or the widget at the bottom of the pages throughout the site if you’d like to support the work of this site financially which is very much appreciated!
Know your support means a great deal to myself and my family. Thank you very much!
